I'll say it again- I can barely stand Garrett. Extreme Ghostbusters was given a PC "Diverse" cast.for the sake of being diverse.

And the "attitude"- I mean, basically, the Ghostbusters are four guys not big strong muscle-bound guys, or superheroes- just four smart guys who know how to take out ghosts. Look at the animation that Real Ghostbusters had- it really holds up. Like I said, I'm giving the show another chance now, but that hideous animation DOES NOT HELP. They could've called the show Ghostbusters: the New Gang, and I would've been turned off back then.

NO, the fact that in the late '90s, everyone and their 2nd cousin twice removed was jumping on the "let's update a classic '70s or '80s show, and completely disgrace the franchise" bandwagon turned off a lot of people. all and all, I really enjoyed the series, and thought it could have held up to the first one.

Slimer acted more like his movie persona, call backs to the earlier series, and then the original GB's fighting along side the new class. Shame, because this show was pretty amazing in its own right. I really think "Ghostbusters: the New Class" or "The Next Gerneration" would have worked better. And as so, quite a few Ghostbusters fans turned away from it. They just shoved a buzz word into the title to garner ratings from groups of kids that thought everything had to be extreme. That said, know what really ruined EGB? The name. The snotys at Sony don't think anything that isn't a horrible sitcom or a crappy special edition version of a movie no one saw in theaters is more important than a "Kiddy show." Yes, one of the most successful kiddy shows based off a movie franchise. The new proton packs are OK, but I miss the old designs. Same goes for all the dark colors of the fire house, there's no light too it. I don't like the color changes too the inside of the ecto 1.
Some of the humans just look ugly, the non main cast members that is. I knew his voice sounded familair, so I looked him up. The Guy who played Roland was also on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Will Smiths TV Cousin. Eduardo is probably my favorite, if only because his voice actor seems too have so much fun in reading the scripts. The cast: Other than the fact that I wish they didn't add Garret and Kyle the way they did to try and fit every demographic, the cast meshes well together. Jersey Devil, Ghost Apocalyptic Future, and at least ten others. Infernal Machine, The Unseen, Be Careful what you wish for, However, watching it from start to finish, I wonder what everyone thinks?įavorite episdoes - Darkness at noon, Casting the Runes, I'm finally getting around to duping my TV tapes to hard disk.since I doubt it'll ever be released on DVD.
